Cezar this image is made under photoshop, I have to draw a feather and have to copy it and resize in the directions which you see but that is used only mask alpha allowing as to modeling an object, by the function make 3d.
Alpha palette > Import > (set blur=0, Mres=256, Mdep=5, Msm=1, DblS=activ) > Make 3d
And you will obtain that tool >
that sure you can improve model, but that is a way.

Great method, great wings! I took the liberty of using your alpha to make a test hope you don’t mind 
I also used my newly acquired knowledge about glow in Z (Thanks a lot, Jaycephus!!!)
cameos script is good for anything
