Anatomy struggle

Abmas- To assign a shader to a sub tool, make sure the sub tool is selected/highlighted turn on the M button (next to the MRGB and RGB buttons) then select the shader you want to fill with and then go to the color menue and click the fill color button. This will fill your current selection with the materail. Now you can change your materials and you will see that that the subtool that you filled with will keep it’s material assignment.

Hope that helps! The new update looks great by the way!

Peace-NickZ.

This is looking good!

You can use SubTool Master to give groups of subtools different materials. You simply switch off the subtools you don’t want to affect, select the material and then press the button.

If you haven’t filled a subtool with a material it will always take on the currently selected material.

This documentation in the Wiki also explains how: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Materials_and_SubTools

Seems I’ve been lazy on the subject
It looks much better that way. Thanks a lot !

I have to subscribe to this thread definitely, since I’m new to ZBrush and still learning anatomy  .

Amazing :grimacing:

jamespthornton, Nemoriko, NightShocker, many thanks for the kind comments.

And anyone seeing something misplaced or not proportionate is welcome to comment, I’m still learning …

I’m assembling the object. It begins to be a bit heavy for my system.
Still the face to do …
