Anatomy and render study

Nice render, I like the image in itself. But I’m not sure the likeness is there, at least compared to the fotos (which may not be representative).
Nose should be longer, for example, forehead straighter, and some overall proportional relations are a little off, so that she doesn’t really look like herself (again, judging by the fotos).

Likeness is super hard, if you want to improve that skill, I recommend not starting with polished pieces, but rather doing many 1-2h sketches of different people.
Once good at that, you can take it a lot further with your great rendering skills!

Could you try doing the following:

  1. Leave ZBC and go to any other site.
  2. Use your browser’s settings to clear the cache.
  3. Return to ZBC and try again.

See if that resolves the issue!

It doesn’t work for me doing those steps, not sure what else to do. I’d really like to translate that tutorial into a post but if it’s not going to work, I guess not.

EDIT: I guess it works if you tab all around, but that’s a really pain.

Very usefull! Thank you very much for the tutorial.:+1:

ysalex : did you try with another browser? Also try to remove your cookies. I had issues myself with ZBC and Chrome. I had to remove the ZBC cookies and relogin to have everything running as usual

With Chrome: Parameters >> Advanced parameters >> Content parameters >> Cookies and website datas >> search ZBrushCentral and then delete the corresponding cookies. Perhaps the labels of the buttons may be different, I’m not running an english language browser.

Did this warm-up sketch this morning. Likeness (poor likeness) and a focus on the planes of her head. No detail what-so-ever, just a base, and a texture projection at the end.

I spotted the likeness in the thumbnail, so I don’t think you’re that far off. Good stuff.

Is she suppose to be Kristen Stewart from the Twilight movie series?

My guess would be Emma Watson, not to bad either!!
