An other work to progress

Here, an Armorican Troll " green stone ". Concept inspired by Troll Hunter.

Maybe later, I 'll render him in maya with some hairs. But for the moment, I think it still a work in progress.

Heavily inspired, I’d say. I thought it was Rune posting his troll here… Only difference I can see is that you have two arms. That’s a Norwegian troll dude, not an Armorican one;) Pretty solid technically. I feel the rocks need more work and stand out right now. Battle scars and general more dirt will also help out.

Thanks for critics ! Yes heavy inspired by the Raglefant because this one is for me the most charismatic troll in the movie ! I called him Armorican troll “Green Stone” because he has any stones look like armoricans plains or forests. But I know, Troll is from germanic culture, specially in North.

Yes i’m ok with you. I must put more details. He’s so soft for a troll.

Hi everybody,

I post my last work done with Zbrush. I’m Jurassic Park’s fan, especially for Tyrannosaurus Rex. few months ago, i tryed to do one, but my knowledge in Zbrush was very basic, as you can see. So after others personnal stuffs, I wanted to sculpt a new Trex, looks like in Jurassic Park movies.

This one stays in progress. Hope you like it ! :wink:

Hi ! this a render test with Sunlight and 2 area light. The mesh is imported at subdivision 3 with normal map and diffuse map. I’m very satisfacted about his diffuse. So much green for my taste. This week I remake it.

HI all ! Well, after watched Spiderwick Chronicles movie, I was very attracted by Mulgarath. Very impressive ! Atfer that, i wanted to make another character like Mulgarath, in the same thinking way. Bestial and aggresive behavior, little Demoniac. Well, you understood it well. It’s not very creative from my part. But i see that as a training in my favorite 3D software, Zbrush !

Here i post some update about the face ( subd 5 /7 ). Even if my inspired model is Mulgarath, I search how it can be also realistic, organic. In fact, I don’t know really where i go with it.:stuck_out_tongue:

Hi Slocik ! Thank you, Yeah around his horns, specially on his right. But as it’s the subdivision 5 / 7, i think it isn’t a problem. I’ll see that when i will be on subd 7 :wink:
