altl+tab not working

Hi guys
This has been troubling me for a long time. I searched on internet and ZBC but couldn’t find anything. I just want to mention that I am not the only one having this issue. My college at work has the same problem. I also have it at home as well.

Sometimes when I try to use “alt+tab” in order to switch to another application, Zbrush stacks and doesn’t minimise. It just stays on top of everything and I have to minimize it clicking hide button in the top right corner. The only way to fix that is to restart ZB. This is quite uncomfortable and annoying.
Do you guys know what the problems and is there any fix for it?

This is one of those times where it’s helpful to list your operating system.

However, on Windows 7 and earlier, Ctrl+Tab has never done anything for me in ZB. Alt-Tab or Ctrl -Alt Tab will bring up the switcher. If this is a Mac thing, I couldn’t say.

Actually I made mistake in the Title and my initial post. I am sorry about that. I meant “alt+tab”. I edited the title and my first post.
My OS are Windows 7 pro and Windows Vista premium.

I haven’t had this issue for some time with ZB, but I did have a similar issue on Vista. I think it was a matter of what other applications were open at the time when alt tabbing. If I recall, it was fixed by checking “disable desktop composition” in the program Properties>Compatibility tab. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

As always, make sure you’re using the most up to date version of Zbrush.
