Hello Alterton. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to respond in your awesome thread. Simply, your something else (but, from all the comments up here, you already know that-;)) Listen, this is truely a small world… I bought the book ‘Pop Sculpture’ By Tim Bruckner, Zach Dat, and Ruben Procopio some time ago, and it never dawned on me (till I reread all the posts from you here) that Alterton here on this post and Alterton from the book were one in the same. Way cool. I remember looking through the book and just thinking ‘Dang, is this guy for real?’- And well, you are-
Seriously, your a great sculptor and just by reading all your responses here, I know your an amazing human being. May the good lord keep blessing you with the talent you have my friend. Best, Dragon.
PS: Do you know what happened to The Sculptor’s Corner? I think it is this website now: http://www.statueforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32/ Or am I wrong?
Dragon: thank you very much for your kind words. Yeap, I am the same Alterton but digitilized. Glad you enjoyed Pop Sculpture book, Tim and Ruben did an awesome job gathering all the info. The Corner site is down for now as I screwed up some files, but will be up soon, the statueforum has nothing to do with the site but it is a great place too. Thanks again

Here is something diferent! This is my contribution to the Heavy Metal Magazine presents “The Art of Agent 88” hardcover book. Agent 88 is a crazy wicked project from a great talented guy, Digger T. Mesh, former owner of Art Asylum Toys and creator of the Minimates. He is running a kickstarter project for a film, read about it here http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1460783231/agent-88-the-web-series

Your work is excellent! Just great!
Another piece from the guys at Hollywood Collectibles Group is up for preorder!
This time is the Synth from the remake of “Total Recall”.
A little about it: I was initially sent the original obj from the VFX studio, and I had to turn the entire model into a printable piece, I used only zbrush for the task of re modeling parts, turning everything into solids, rearranging and merging parts, detailing. One of the most difficult parts of the job was to make the model in only a few printable parts to reduce production costs, I mean less parts to print: less parts to mold and casts and lower the price for the fans; but taking care not to go far from the original concpt. It was a great to work with the HCG art director as usual and the movie VFX studio.
Ok, now enough talking, lets go to the pics…
