Am I missing something here? Alt-clicking a subtool is supposed to make it active, but this only works very intermittently. I usually have over 60 subtools and I NEED to be able to alt-click select them (because ZBrush refuses to implement any sort of organizing method in the subtool menu). Sometimes alt click works, more often it does not and I just sit there holding down alt and banging my pen into the cintiq screen. Then I finally give up. I am startled myself at the violent thoughts I have while continually scrolling up and down the long list of subtools looking for that one piece piece in particular. I hated cntl-shift clicking (as it kept getting itself confused between subtool selection and polygroup selection), but at least it DID something when you clicked it. Am I doing something wrong?
The same problem Al-click on unselected subtool sometimes works fine. But in many cases it doesn’t wor at all (Zbrush 3.5 r3). Can anybody help?
