Alt + Click on currently selected subtool zooms extents

Hi, I need to get rid of a function

If your zoomed in working on a subtool and you alt + Click on it with out moving for a stroke it will zoom extents.

This is resulting in a constant popping out of what i’m working on by accident. Sometimes I change my mind just as I go to make a stroke, or i am trying to do something very small.

Is there a way I can disable this? I already use “F” to zoom to the extents of the model when I need that function.

Turn off Preferences>Edit>Auto Select Subtool.

you can go into : prefs > interface. and turn Click Time right down. that should nullify that behaviour. unfortunately it will also affect the ctrl_click a mask to blur and other things ( like. you won’t be able to select a subtool by alt clicking on it in the viewport). so yeah. fixes one dicky aspect. breaks some others

pixologic. can we get these functions separated out into their own preferences in v4 ?
