Alpha Problem

Hey I’m kind of new to zbrush.

I’m using a alpha and dragrect to project it. When I drag the alpha on to the mesh I have it looks fine. But when i turn the model around the inverse of the alpha is projected on the other side of the model??? wtf

I’m not in symmetry mode or anything. So i’m not sure what is going on. The model though is a plank like shape. But I’m noticing the same thing happening even with the zcube mesh.

What am I doing wrong?

For thin objects you may need to use Backface Masking which is available in the Brush menu.
