as you can see. my cursor is on a different pattern which does not match from the alpha pallet. This problem now happens to me constantly. I just need to get this done.
thank you.

Looks like you’ve got Spotlight on. Press Shift+Z to turn it off.

exactly, I have my spotlight on but it does not help when i turn off the spotlight.
my alpha still remain the same as the wrong one. I have no way to change it back.

To change an alpha on a brush, click on the large alpha thumbnail on the left of the interface and select the alpha from the pop-up.

To load an alpha from Lightbox into the Alpha palette, hold Shift and double-click on the alpha thumbnail in Lightbox. It’s a good idea to turn off Edit before holding Shift, otherwise the alpha will be applied to the Smooth brush. Simply turn on Edit again before continuing sculpting.

wow. I did not know that. Let me try it and I will come back again.
after I have tried your method. I have found out if that will work when spotlight is turned on.
I “hold Shift and double-click on the alpha thumbnail in Lightbox”. My alpha on my cursor does not change still with my spotlight turned on or turned off. I have turn off or on the EDIT to change the alpha. But it is not working. I have also tried to load new alpha from the Lightbox and i got the same result.

As you can see this… I wonder if that is the active bug or something i have not done correctly. http://www.box.net/shared/rd6hp8mj4z
