I’ve drawn dozens of sketches of this character over the years, even a short film project back in 2002. Almuk was a simple caveman then, now he has matured to a full grown shaman… But no worries, he still ain’t too smart :wink:

btw. Martin, thanks for the awesome Colossus video! I couldn’t have figured out Z3 without it.

Kyphur & Guti, thanks! I looked through my archives to find some older concepts of the character and found even 2001 sketches (which look quite horrible, but at least there’s some progress there):

Pooop, I like the clay look too. I’m working on this fellow in Super Sculpey, but I guess with the advent of Z3 I’m never gonna finish it :cool:

Hey Timo,

My name is Richard… I am a ex-pat Brit living in the States now.
I was recently laid off from an IT guy, and looking to start a new business. I will be upfront here… I am EXTREMELY limited on funds (the dregs of my severence from the layoff), but need a cool caveman type logo.
Seeing you have already developed much of your Almuk character, I was wondering if you would play with it some more and make me some jpg stills I could use for logo’s on my business.
Obviously I don’t want to scare people as I need them to buy stuff so I can survive! :smiley:
I actually want them to smile a bit when they see the new character, so I want something a bit softer and amusing, and perhaps even a bit more cartoony. This is another fantastic example of the kind of thing I am looking for.
