all sorts of stuff not working (at least as expected)...

ZBrush 4R6 with latest updates.

Used to be able to in an older zbrush, fill an object with a material and then paint with another material. That doesn’t seem to be working for me anymore. Did the process change?

Also, in another test example, I can use layers for RGB painting OR I can access features like (fill color on object with a mask enabled or polypaint from texture) but they don’t seem to work while layers are recording.

Nothings working right today.

steps should be the same for materials, have M turned on, fill an object (or paint it) then change your Material while M is still on and paint away. Make sure you have colorize turned on though. It doesn’t default to on unless you have RGB on as well.

I don’t believe you’ve ever been able to fill an object on a layer, only the base object will support the fill object command.

That’s too bad. Alright well, I had to re-import my model and start over from the beginning and then I can polypaint with material, something got junked up with the file I was working on that wouldn’t let me M paint but upon re-import it worked.
