Alien ship (ZB4.0 test)

Hi guys,

Playing around with Shadow box and clip brushes. i started to understand how it work. Details were made using custom alphas made with “macromedia flash” and mask using zbrush 4 new tools.

Have to learn how to use the new tools for texturing.

It looks almost Victorian, steam-punk like.

Try to smooth out those jagged alphas. I really dig it, though.

Nice detail. It does look like your using 8 bit alphas though? Other than that, I really like your model.

The problem isn’t with alphas, i can’t subdivide too much because of my hardware limitation, im using an asus Eeepc 1201N netbook, and i didn’t use the remeshall anf reproject tools (discovered yesturday night how it work :smiley: )) . The native mesh done with shadow-box its very “dirty” and produce some glitch when using “clip brushes”. Other thing i need to study is polygroup (and edge loops function) and subdivide my mesh in various subtool.
