Alien head - ZBrush + Maya

Hi there,

Here´s my first head model in ZBrush. I did the modelling with z-spheres, exported the OBJ model to Maya for minor adjustments, and imported back into ZB for detailing and colors. I rendered the final image in Maya.

There was a UV texturing problem on the side of the neck, and other close to the nose. Funny thing is, both problems happenned during the Maya step of the process…

Cool facial features, “it” looks friendly. Shame about the UV problems but still very nice. :smiley:

I like the overall design. The texture needs some work, but a great start…

Make all in Zbrush, you will not have problem :wink:

I m really intrested in your settings when u import the boect baclk to maya
what did u use fpr approximation Sub-D and Displacment

I already wrote a tutorial about it , but i like to hear other people settings
