Fantastic result! You should do a breakdown of your 2D process, I’m sure it will be interesting for a lot of artists!

great comic style. i love this style so far

Amazing job, really love your artwork. It looks 1 by 1 like in the Series… Just love it…
It would be really amazing if you could tell us your workflow how you created this amazing piece and render.
Definantly one of the nicest cellshaders I’ve seen along time within the ZBrush Pipeline.

Looking forward seeing more from you and thanks for bringing my childhood with DragonBall  LOVE IT

Very nice effect!

Tks a lot guys, reaaly appreciate your kind words!

Here are the “classic” renders of the 3D model:

So Excellent!

If you have the time, can you describe or show your cloth workflow? It is really good for the style you chose.

…result! :+1:

Tks a lot guys!
Now it’s time to move on my previous model, Fourmille. Started to applied on her some cell shade render with Posterize & framer materials.
Have to re-work the hairs, don’t like the result right now…
I’ll post some updates soon. Cheers!

I really like your approach to comic/cartoon rendering style. Beautifully colourful work, nice.

Amusingly, I thought about saying that “Hey, you should be working at Telltale Games or somewhere like that with these skills!”, but then I found out from your portfolio that you actually are, cool!

Currently I’m working on the fan art version of Clementine from TWD, and this kind of rendering technique would be more than ideal for that. Thanks for the breakdown, sir.

Thank you for showing your steps. Your model and shading looks very nice!

Here is another w.i.p. into my process with Fourmille. This time i used Vray for rendering my pass (classic shaders + Vray toon).
I’m not happy with some elements, but this step help me to define what i want for my finale image.
Don’t hesitate if you have comments, suggestions or questions. cheers

Renders looks just awesome… Love the Final effect…

Hi guys, here is my last personal work.
Originally started during a Zbrush workshop given to my students, i’ve decided to push him further and build him for real time render.
Sculpted in Zbrush, i’ve used TextureXYZ ressources for skin pores details & head polypaint.
Textured with substance Painter & real time render in Marmoset Toolbag.

Very nice work Alexandre!

I dig the mix between the toon style and the realism in the skin.

Really nice. :+1:

Hey guys, tks a lot for the comments! sorry for the delay btw…

I’m back on Fourmille (one year later). I did the pose, and i’m polishing here & there. A few things to do and i’ll be able to jump onto the final render.
What do you think about? C&C are more than welcome.
