That raptor is looking really good! It should be made into a gnomon dvd! haha
Did you sculpt with zspheres? and What is that shell sculpting technique you have going on? it looks like a separate skin mesh floating over top.

You is modeling this Raptor based in one that you made in clay, in the Melies? I saw it today! Awesome!
Love you models.
Iām extremely interestined to know the reason you creating the Raptor in many different parts? Do you intend sew the areas together?
Not too bad I guess⦠Just keep working Alex, youre bound to get the hang of it sooner or later!
⦠Bloody Show off!
(seriously awesome work though, you really are one of the masters, like most Iām in awe of what you do and how you do it. Could you provide us mortals with more details of your work flow, that Indian is sensational, and the anatomy studies have become a mini textbook).
Oh, forgot to askā¦how do you put together the pieces of something like the Raptor(which I LOVE)? Is it just subtools? If so, can they be put together seamlessly? (I have a woman with no hands or feet and itād be great to add these appendages to the poor girl, after all she has no mouth so she should at least have the ability to sign! )
hey alex,
iām wondering, are you doing your base mesh in zbrush? thanks.

Hey Alex I donāt know if you are aware that this guy is stealing youāre work (amongst others) heās also stealing from sebcesoir and metamesh etcā¦

I really liked your gorilla, I seem to be becoming tired of grotesque monsters that seem easy to do.
Alex Olivier⦠what a gorgeous, stunning, epocal threadā¦
Your works are Fantasticā¦!!!
yeah i wish i know how ur brain works, like sylar from heroes
I canāt believe I missed this thread for so long. Your models are stunning, and even youāre texturing is great. I wish we had more people with you skill level to pass on some of that knowledge. I have a few questions Iāde like to ask, but I donāt want to bother you, and I know this thread is a bit older, so Iāll only ask the main one. When you use subTools for āhard surfaceā objects like armor, did you make them in another program first, or are they straight from ZBrush. I would love to hear any tips you have, and keep your work coming, I love it. By the way, the chainmail on the goblin/orc is amazing detail.
very well exelente I like
Another thing about the anatomy man is the navel is too low. It should be right between the 2 ab sets and instead itās about halfway down the next set. Fixing that will show that the pelvis area is probably a little on the long side.
