Hello everybody!seems that pixologic moves a lot! just come back o n the site, and see from Pixolator a future alpha’s amazing function! Xmas everyday! the way this program is increasing is really great… Talking alphas, thank you much, Kaz, for your solution to square edges; seems to be a good go between my round forms, and Pixolator 's improvement!here a cartoon picture, as i think the style of z brush can turn from caricature, for ex the nice work on Crumb from Stonecuter, and horror; even the very fine modelling of vampire of malhicus seem (for me) hesitate between horror and fun, like Frankestein junior movie…

just a technical add, about the way i use the render engine of Zbrush:as you see on the image joined, once the form is fixed, i make as many renders as need :once with material 11 in M PAck, for the main light on the character; one another , moving slightly the lights, more sprcular in material, for dark shadow, one another with basic material, moving once more light, for the green shadow; after, in psp, i supperpose the layers, cut the not needed things, play on opacity of some, to go to what woulb be for me the “perfect” render.Don’t misunderstand me: if I have everything fine in one render, bingo! I just want to point that the fast and very good render function of Z allows to do what would be a very tedious post work in aother apps, in Z in a very creative process.

:confused:I forgot the picture; I join too the lamp renders, with the same differents materials and lights settings, and as you see edit mode to change form, chosing after in psp what I want. And, yes, at the end, it’s necessary to paint a little the links, sure, it’s easier having a tablet.

 Frenchy pilou, Bonjour! I’m afraid I didi’nt understand how to have everything in the same post!

Ticky the moustach deformation created by the inverse suction lamp

Hi Marcel

Pilou

ah Pilou, tu es logged! a ma grande honte, je me souviens juste pas de ce que tu m’as dit;;;et j’ai une basic question,si tu veux bien: how to fix this damned texture size? i enter a high value at the beginning of texture master, just to see later it comes back to 1024, !!!I suppose it’s necessary to it at one prcise moment, but xhen, and what link with the document size? pfoow, very very newbie question, never understand by me, snif…

Marcel - your the man!

I absolutely love your style and the picture itself is hillarious  wake up old lamp ghost

I just keep wondering why you take your layers to psp and finish there - what are the benefits besides that you know the program well?
Can’t the whole process be done in ZB ?

hi Marcel
Pilou
Ps Ce gars est trop ! Technique à l’ancienne pour délire total

Wauuu Marcel !!! Well done !!! Tnx for sharing your experience !!! Tnx zFriend !! :+1: :+1:

 nemo, thank you for your comments; i use psp, because , you see the plate with the character:in 1, i “cut” the lighted part of it, delete the rest; then in2, take the dark shadows, change opacity, delete the rest of the layer; in3, take just the green , delete the rest; to have one, i can’t use the green light; to have 3, i can’t use one’s material; so i supprerpose in psp; hope this helps; friendly M.

Hi Marcel Again

Great style and technique’s Marcel! :+1: :+1: :+1:

This is awsome! Thanks for the walk thru!  :+1: :+1:

Well done, I even enjoyed reading the French :warning: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Ingenious Illustration! :sunglasses: :+1: :+1:

excellent image marcel… and thanks for the lighting tip.

I love the Aladdn picture Marcel! I like the way you put the figure into a pouty ticked off looking pose. I used a crossed arms pose on my Djinn Assassin…speaking of which I think I need to finish it lol! Great work and I love the illustrated style! :+1: :+1: :+1:

Wonderful! I love your art!
