After seeing some amazing posts on here, I finally decided to give in and start a sketchbook thread.

Here’s one to start out with entitled “TKO - Tits Knock Out”

I wanted to make a piece referring to developing game culture and have been thinking: “Its funny yet disturbing how game girls have impossibly giant breasts for their proportions ( and they keep getting bigger) .” Cases in point - Ivy and Taki from Soul Calibur, Mai from the King of Fighters or any of the girls from the Dead or Alive series. So, to prompt a discussion on the topic, I decided to make a piece on how a girl would actually use those giant breasts in battle in a fake upcoming game…and I took some artistic license with her cup size. Went for a manga styled look because game developers have been heavily influenced by Japanese Anime and Hentai manga and a lot of those erotic overtones are sneaking into games; and I wanted to try it.

I am interested in what you think? (as a community of artists, some of whom I’m sure play video-games) Is this developing trend in video-game culture a good or bad thing?

Anyways, Hope you like the piece and it makes you laugh, or mad or at least think about it the next time you see a game girl with huge knockers.

Actually i’m a bit bored by this “big breast” dictature in fighting games. It looks aberrant that a fast woman as Taki could do all those crazy moves with such giant breast. She’s obvioulsy off balance, and with all those jumps - and no bra - she should have her tits at her knees. :stuck_out_tongue:
A female body can be very sexy with regular breasts, even small ones. The thing that really makes the difference is a nice shape.
But the worst thing is real. Women with nice regular breasts get some ugly balloon shaped implants. It happends a lot in the adult movie industry…
I’m not a protector of “god’s given body”, i like body modifications like piercings, tattoo, scarifications… As long as it’s lead by a good aesthetic sense.
And i saw videos of women wich breasts as big as your character’s ones.

Hah, thnkx guys,

HellGrind. I agree with you. I’m not a protector of “god’s given body” either, but…384,000 women last year went in for elective breast augmentation surgery and its rapidly becoming the most popular High school graduation gift for girls. I think there is something wrong with that.

proportionately i think the breast are too small :wink: no really im not even a breast man but i like this - too funny :laughing: if she is not careful she could put someones eye out with those armor piercing nipples :smiley: :+1: :+1:

Have been reading George Carlin’s book, Last Words, and felt like making a portrait to honor his memory. One of the greatest Professional Comedians of all time and a big influence on me.

Hello All. For the past month I have frantically been trying to work on an image for the CG Society B-Movie Contest. I recently finished it and since Zbrush was used in almost every part of the image I’m going to post it here. I’d be interested to see if any of you remember this classic 90’s B-Movie, it was one of my favorites growing up.

Ahahaha, I like you big breasted chick fighters! Especially the fact that the smaller breasted one gets totally squished, very symbolic:)
I think that “big boob trend” dominates not only video games industry, but the entire pop-culture shelf. And all of such female models are bone-skinny, they simply cannot have naturally big breasts as breast is mostly a fatty tissue.
Stylistically I see no problems with big breasted warrior women in video games, but it has become ubiquitous and diminished the variety of female body types we see in games. So the “typical” video game babe looks like a composite of 10 yer old girls’s face with (make a selection here) emaciated super-model body or anime-style figure and silicon-inspired knockers… Talk about objectifying women.
In one of my previous jobs for a company building female player-oriented MMO type game I have tried to voice my concerns about the breast size that was designed for our female avatar, alas, my pleas fell on the deaf ears and I was told to stop criticizing “approved” concept art… The game never took off, I wonder why?:slight_smile:
