Adding Polygones without subdividing

Hey Guys!

Hopefully you can help me with this very annoying problem I have.
I searched everywhere, but noone can help me with this problem. Maybe I finally have luck here?

So my problem is: I wanna add polygones on lowpolyobjects, which are previously created in another 3D Program like Cinema 4D or Modo. But If i export it into Wavefront Obj and import it in ZBrush, the only solution to add Polygones for skulpting is to add new subdivision on the whole model. But then I have polygones in regions which were detailed enough and didnt need so much details. I only want to add polygones/Details on specific regions on my model, so I dont have problems to export this into obj and import it into another 3D Aplication.
