Adding new curves (answered)

I am having troubles adding additional curves with tri mesh.

I draw the curve, ctl-drag off model to clear mask, and try to draw a new curve. It just replaces the old curve with the new one.

Even if I switch and use the standard brush in between.

Thanks in advance for any help…

‘Delete’ or ‘Snapshot’ the curve in the Stroke palette Curve Mode section.

Hit the Number 5 key to take a snapshot of the curve and then move the curve. The original will still be there while dragging the new curve. The button is ocated in the Curves Function SubPaette of the Stroke menu.

Thank you, this was driving me mad for a bit…I wonder why just ctrl drag doesn’t release the brush to make a new copy…I’m sure there is a reason.

Just to clarify for any future confused people…

all you have to do is click once on the model before starting a new curve.

This will “confirm” the old curve…

I didn’t realize this…Doh

Thank you. This was bugging me too. (I’m sure the previous version allowed you to draw new curves without having to click once)?
