Something I’ve noticed about the new Zsphere system: when I generate an adaptive skin it shows slightly dark. I can fill the object with white to make everything more visible but then I can’t change the color on the fly with the color palette. Does anyone know how to either stop the adaptive skins from generating with a darker color or how to remove the base color from a model so it updates live from the color picker? Thanks a million.
Select Flat Color material > Mrgb button on > Color menu > FillObject. That will reset it. Then select any other material and color.
Thanks, this is resetting the shade and the material is live updating, but the color is still static. I know it’s a small issue but do you have any idea what might be keeping the color from updating when I choose a new color? I swear I could do this in Z3d
you logged on while I was editing. refresh the page. Mrgb has to be on .
Ok. I have MRGB on and it’s still not resetting the color. The clear button in the color palette isn’t doing it either. I’m also on a Mac, which I guess still has some hiccups, in case that helps. Might just be broken
My apologies, the other was for resetting material only. The following should work.

Yes! Thanks a ton. But now I’m curious what happens when the S’s are multicolored with the gradient?
Clicking that box toggles polypainting on and off for all visible subtools and deselects color and materials.
