Activation question

Hello

My question will maybe sound silly to some but I had some problems with another software I own recently so I prefer being safe than sorry

I recently ordered some new components to upgrade my computer (i7 980X, motherboard, memory). Before formatting my hard drives I deactivated zbrush (all went fine).
The problem I have now, is the fact that the upgrade didn’t go well and I had to return the motherboard (apparently, the bios is too old for the cpu despite the fact that it is supposed to be supported). Anyway, I should receive a new updated motherboard soon.

In the meantime, I reassembled my “old” xq6700 and I wonder if I can reactivate zbrush on this machine and again deactivate it when the new motherboard arrive to reactivate it this time on the final machine

Sorry if it’s a bit difficult to follow, I’m aware of the fact that my English is far to be good

Thank you in advance for any answers

Jean-Luc

Absolutely. You can activate it on your temporary computer using Web Activation. Then when you get your main computer in good shape again you can use Web Deactivation on the temporary machine to immediately free the serial number up again. Then you can turn right around and do a new Web Activation on your main computer.

The Web Activation/Web Deactivation system has no limits on it. You can use the system as often as necessary. ZBrush can be installed on as many computers as you wish, so long as it’s only activated on no more than two at a time and actually in use on one computer at a time.

Thank you very much Aurick for your answer !
I’m a zbrush addict now and I didn’t feel like staying the whole week-end without being unable to use it so your answer makes me very happy
