Accurately placing alpha

I must put a label on a bottle.
How can I put letters at the same distanse from the floor, the same scale and the same angle to make a word. If I use a word not letters I always get distortion because the bottle is round.
Thank’s!

My instinct would be to use Drag Dot and Projection Master on a plane* (no need to actually drag the stroke to create it, the orientation and size should always be the same regardless of how you move the brush, and you can move/scale/rotate any strokes you do make after placing them in order to make sure everything is consistent). You can even use a grid pattern on the plane to help as a guide. The idea there is to basically create a new alpha image that contains your full text. This can then be wrapped around the cylindrical mesh where needed by using UVs and a variety of different methods (such as surface noise, or projection master on a morphed version).

*Or photoshop, if you have the various alphas saved out already.

Thank’s very much!
I tried progection master. But it gives some destortion too.I should rotate a model to put letters on it. My model is dynameshed so that it doesn’t have UV. And how can I put a word in proper plase using noise?

You’d just need to create a new set of temporary UVs. I’d polygroup the area in order to ensure it has its own uv island.

Thank’s!
