Anyone notice the palettes missing from the top?

OMG! You’re the best, guys.
Yeah, if that concept sculpting comes anywhere close to what I’ve been dreaming about, but never thought I would see, I’m very happy. My only concern is how long a wait the Mac users will have - Don’t want to wait as long as I have been for ZMapper, as was mentioned by stoob. I’ve just gotta think positive. Can’t wait to kick the tires on ZBrush 3!
Grabs Lemo’s bag and starts power-wheezing
Literally awesome.
Gonna go put the video on repeat…be back in 6-7 hours…
So great and so many new features! As always you did more than a great job!!!
Cheers,

There will always be a use for it. Sometimes when you’re pushing THE MAX poly count your computer can handle this lets you get the job done when otherwise you simply couldn’t- and see it in real time. I use a lot of the 2.5D features this way and can’t see completely abandoning them- using them less- yes, but we all know how fun it is to just push things a little further.
Hats off to pixologic once again this will bring a new dawn of a new era of creativty and bringing are imaginations to life a hundred times over more then before cant wait when may comes rolling around i have to say you have once again reached the mark and went far and beyond past it thank you so much for creating zbrush!!!
Great news. I see a new computer in my future.

Is it just me…or does it look like you can use all the brushes, all the time, at any percentage you want? Maybe i’m just all drugged up on the video and feeling too light headed…but I see it on the left side…
Would be cool…and kind of allow you to make your own brush…more…
Thank you soooo much!!!
That’s assuming all Mac users are on IntelMacs… and that those IntelMac users actually bought and installed Windows XP SP2. Why would I want to spend the time and money just to transfer the license so I can run Z3 for a week or two until the Mac version is out… Oh, wait, I get it…
Here’s hoping.
I see a new Sky - full of Creativity, full of Inspiration and new ways to create
whats in our Fantasy.
Time for waitiing is gone - COOOOOOOOOOOL - WOW

I met a Ryan Kingsley at the June '06 Gnomon Workshop and had talked briefly with him about just how much I loved ZBrush. What struck a chord with me was how much his personality reflected the way I always saw Pixologic… just straight down to earth and cool as hell.
That was around the time that Mudbox had begun to build hype which only added to the frustration of people who had been waiting for ZBrush v2.5. There was so much slating going on at that time and I just remember laughing because even without ANY updates, ZBrush v2.0 was still an INCREDIBLE application. I mean it didnt take much to see that… EVERYWHERE you looked ZBrush was being used, whether it was for artistic images, film… you name it, ZBrush was there. Added to the fact that the zbrush central community itself was rock solid and the support of the developers providing free tutorials and plugins made it one of the best online communities ANYWHERE.
Now youre probably thinking “What does any of this has to do with Zbrush 3.0?”. Well, on personal level it reinstates what I knew all along. ZBrush is THE premiere 2.5D modeling application. And regardless of the fact that its taken a significant amount of time to bring forth a culmination of all these incredible updates to this already powerful application, it recapitulates what I stated earlier. Pixologic is the best at what they do: innovate. And their steadfast commitment to doing exactly that is what keeps me loving ZBrush.
Great job Pixologic

I can’t believe you’re not making us pay for this.
You guys are the best!

Wow this topic grew faster than I thought.
I don’t know about you all but in the video, the first character (to me) reeks of AW (Martin) and the Scubba Guy seems to smell like Pix’s work. Could be wrong but it is going to be fun to find out.
