Ever since I upgraded to 4R6 I get an Abnormal Termination at start up, I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled but it keeps doing it. I’m not opening a tool or a document but just the exe. Any suggestions?
Which operating system are you using (including version)?
How did you install? If you used the upgrader, try the stand-alone installer.
When you re-installed, did you simply uninstall and try again? Or did you also delete the ZBrush 4R6 folder and the ZBrushData folder to get back to a clean slate before you installed?
Did you have your antivirus software running during the download and installation?

-Im using Windows 7 Pro service pack 1
-When I had 4R5 I used the upgrader to get 4R6 and I got the abnormal termination, I also tried the stand alone.
-I just did an Uninstall without deleting the Zbrushdata
-I have an Antivirus running during the install but I also had it running when I installed 4R5 and had no issues.
Antivirus software takes time to add a program to its white list. Then your copy of it only receives that info when it actually updates, which may be longer still depending on your settings and software.
99% of upgrade issues have been caused by antivirus software. As someone who’s worked with software support for over a decade, I NEVER download or install any program I actually want while my antivirus software is running. Remember, if it was foolproof, it wouldn’t have a way for you to disable it!
