Abner Marin 3D prints

Hi,

I have wanted to create a new thread for a long time now to show my 3Dprinted sculpts using zbrush.
So far, all these have been printed through Ownage.

Pictures are self explanatory, but if anyone has got any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks for watching.
Abner.

Quite pleasing to the eye!

I really like your work a lot, and your YT channel promises exciting time watching your uploads.

Congrats!

one hour later:

I have watched a few of your YT movies and the first thing that springs to mind is ‘fearless modeling’. The way you do that dragon’s mouth for example.
The second thing that grabbed my attention is your choice of music. Which is exquisite, goes well with what you shows, adds to the atmosphere and accompanies the visuals without ever taking the lead.
That is very! good.

I can’t take my eyes off of that metal alien sphere… What a gorgeous print Abner! I’m blown away at the level of detail you’ve achieved.

How big is that sphere printed out? Thanks for including the video. It’s very helpful to see you start to sketch it out.

Thanks so much all for taking the time to comment and watch the videos on my YouTube channel (Eric ).
I just thought I would post a picture of my hand holding the sphere, as it is hard to get the scale of the 3D print otherwise. It measures 10.5cm diameter, answering your question “HevyTheory”. It is quite big and I think it could have more detail in terms of the 3D printing resolution, but as it was an experiment I didn’t want to overcomplicate it (I think it is already quite complex as is  ). I may do some more sheres like this in the future as I really enjoyed sculpting it.

Again, really glad you liked the prints. You can see some painted versions (by different artists) of these prints on my Facebook page, if anyone is interested: https://www.facebook.com/faraguay3d

Cheers!
Abner.

So cool seeing it with scale reference. That could be a beautiful prop in a sci fi movie  Do you do a lot of work with Ownage? Are the very exclusive? I’d like to try a few ideas out with them at some point.

Thanks so much again for sharing. I look forward to future work from you

Thanks for the kind words :).

All I know about Ownage is that they are normally really busy and you may have to wait a bit for them to get back to you… But I don’t know about how exclusive they are (I guess not much if they work on personal projects like mine  ).

Incredibly beautiful and captivating pieces :+1:

Thanks Takai. Glad you like them.

Lovely work Abner!

Haha, Likewise Stephane :). Thanks for stopping by.
