Aaargh Topology!

Hello Community

I invested now more than a day to build up a new topology on to a ZSphere structure. Everything looked pretty good at first view. Just now I rotated one of those little topology connecting Spheres to adjust it and saw that it was not connected to the endpoints of the neighboring Polygone(s). When checking all other ‘connections’ it turned out that the mesh is not closed at all! Almost nowhere is e real connection between the endpoints of those retopo-polygones even when the Cursor snaps onto an edpoint there is no real connection produced… This really sucks now! All the invested time was for nothing. Is there a way to get a consitent mesh out of topology at all? I mean the topology function in Silo was not perfect but it did work. I am able to get a watertight mesh out of Silo - the ZB3 funktion doesn’t work at all for me. :-1:small_orange_diamond:-1:small_orange_diamond:-1:

I’ve had no problems at all producing solid topology. Perhaps it would help if you actually described your steps so that people could see where you’re going wrong? Better yet, use the info that’s already here at ZBC. For example: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=44876

I noticed the same thing, but I also noticed that it does not seem to matter as long as the dsitance between the connections is not too big. Just hit “a” and the adaptive skin will probably look fine.

Thank you Aurick and Toonafish for the quick reply. Here are some pictures that show the Problems I’m having with topology.
