AAAHHHH!!!! Urgent help nessassary! About morphing.

Hi!

I have a big problem:

I’ve two meshes. A low-poly and a high-poly. Now I wanted to safe the points of the subdivided low-polymesh to the points of the highpoly mesh. Is there any possibility to do that?
I’ve been searching so long now for a workaround but I’ve no luck yet.
Please can anybody help me.

robert

  • If your high poly mesh is quad geometry you could possible recover the lower subdivisions with the reconstruction tool within the geometry tab.

(Important note about the reconstruction tool is that it only works when uvs are enabled in the texture tab. You do not need to define UVs for the model; just turn the button on then hit reconstruct if you don’t it will not work)

Now that you have the low end version of the high end model you can project another models geo form to it s lowest cage therefore changing the higher subdivisions of the high poly mesh. There are many ways to do projections in Zbrush the easiest is the ProjectAll button in the Subtools tab.

Puhhh! Thank you --> you are my hero. Really many many thanks.

“Projekt all” was the key to success.

I’ve only one question: can I also reconstruct the painting? Maybe with “col>tex” and back?
