Is there any way to projective painting for color and depth images simultaneously in Zbrush?
For example, I have two matching each other color and depth images done in crazybump and want to paint them over a model. I think I can’t do it with Spotlight. Is there any other way?
I think it could be done by combining SpotLight (for the color) with a stencil (for the depth). You’d have to experiment but it’s probably possible that way.
Even better might be to use the Surface Noise feature to apply the depth map and SpotLight for the color. I know you could paint the two separately that way, but it may also work to do them together.
Could you please explain it a bit more. With both methods you offered I have no idea how can I match Spot light image with Stencil one or loaded noise image precisely . I mean to do it without UV, just projecting from the screen. If Spotlight could replace one image(color) to another one(depth) in the exactly same position on screen it would solve the problem. But I can’t find a way to do so.
If somebody know other similar program that can project both color and depth matching each other with just painting on-screen ( not onto UV only) I would be interested to know and appreciated.
