A troubeled man

Hello ZBrusher’s ,
i’m trying to model a man’s face ( the second attempt in ZBrush ) .

There is quite a few things not correct ( the neck for instance ) , and i’m having great difficulties in getting the wrinkles in the forehead .

My model is at the highest SubD about 1.5 Million Polys .

Thanks for watching .
Monji .

Very nice work so far,

I see what ya mean w/ wrinkles in the forehead

I would start with indenting where you want the lines , and inflate the forehead area around the wrinkles slightly , then just work with them slightly to make them more natural/noisey to give it that randomness of life feel

no two foreheads are the same thats for sure but i find puffing out the forehead skin around the wrinkles goes a long way for giving them form.

you can always deflate the forehead skin after you get the form down…

Jaw line is a little too rounded imho… but damn im impressed with the overall look of the model thats for sure.

doubt you’d see me comin up with those nice areas for the eyes… i really like that part of the model.

Thanks for your comment !

I didn’t expect to get at least some detail in the forehead area , the meshdensity is not very dense …
But it’s all in the brushes , and the distance from your model when you paint …
I still have to learn so much how the different brushes work .
Thanks again for your crits , i hope to show something more decent than this…it’s not much of an improvement at all …but i got some WRINKLES !!! MAN II.jpg

Fine work,I like it.

His ears are really high on his head, I believe that’s usually associated with Down Syndrome, which is great if that’s what you’re going for (it would actually be a nice change). If that’s not what you’re going for though, you’ll need to consider either bringing the ears down or bringing the main facial features up. Also, the corners of the mouth end rather oddly, as if they’re two separate pieces instead of being connected and overlapping. You could correct that by giving a bit of meat to the outside of the mouth corners and pushing the upper part of the upper lip out and away from the face.

Nice work and I like the forehead as it is.

Thank’s calum 5ZB .

Thanks Teyon ,
one of my friends pointed it out about the ears ( it looked even worser …) ,
so i have to change it more then !!

Also about the lips …i have trouble to get it right …but i have to work harder on too .
Thanks for your crits .
