I’m working on coming up with concepts for adding the Throat, Heart and Navel chakras to this shaman’s armor. Below is a quick drawing of one idea I have.

As with the horns on his helmet, these shoulder guards spew gaseous fire :). These horns straddle his shoulders and wrap around to his back. I might also add four more horns coming out of the four main chambers of the heart chakra. The final design will also be more organic, similar to the Battle Helm. Questions, comments and critiques are greatly appreciated :)

It's adorned with the Throat, Heart and Navel chakras. Here are the first renders. Yes, it's a beast :). I also really dig his back story. Sounds like you’ve got a whole movie or game already planned out for this character to exist in :).

well i am kinda new to all of this 3d thing and well drawing at al(less then 6 months i think.
ive always drew but not proffesionally and i was always better with sculpting (in real life and well in 3d as well :smiley: ) rather then drawing so right now im working on fixing that one :smiley:
and well atm tho im not drawing that bad im working on my work flow and just having WAYY to many ideas so im busy on making sketches and then ill choose the ones i wanna fill my portfolio with…and then…yull see some creations of mine :smiley:

Thanks for the love EricArtman :). Ya, in a way I do have a lot planned for Knoweapon, and in another way I’m kinda just letting the energy flow through me and let it be the engine of creation. I honestly don’t know how the story ends yet… we’ll see :slight_smile: Stay tuned!

Hi EricArtman. Thank you so much for the nice comments on my sketchbook works! I visited your website: beautiful sculpting, I really appreciate and value real craftsmanship.
I was following this thread for some time, intruiged by the Petrol Shaman. The armor is fabulous: every piece is a fluid composition, from the biggest shape, to the smallest detail. :+1: ! Can’t wait for the next update, so, I’m subscribing. :+1: !

Unfortunately, I got a bit side tracked and I haven’t finished the Petrol Shaman.

I have however completely redesigned and revamped my personal website. ZBrush was used extensively to texture and paint all the graphical elements. The final version of the site was rendered in 3ds Max using Mental Ray. The design of the buttons was influenced by the ones on Bulgarov Vitaly's personal site. I hope you like the new (critiques and comments welcome) -

Whew! That armour looks amazing! I can’t wait to see the whole thing put together. It’s an interesting road you’ve taken using the chakras along with your character and your sigils are wonderful!

In case anyone cares the six-pointed star, or Hexagram,has been used extensivly around the world for numerous reasons. It’s a common symbol used in new age and occult rituals, kabbalah, Juddaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism to name a few. The origin of the Hexagram has been lost to antiquity and it is theorized that it may have originated in numerous areas independant of one another. It is not an unknown or culturally unique symbol and it’s signifigance changes from place to place.

I know acb12 was concerned about my using it, but some sources claim that its use in Hinduism and Buddhism predate its use in Judaism.

Dear brothers and sisters who wish to have a safe and rapid chakra activation here is a very effective exercise divided in three parts. In order to get the most of benefits I’ve decided to wait for seven days to allow your psychic centers to be exposed to the length of time required.
Very long experience had with me and some students have led me to succeed on this spiritual endeavor.
The colors for this special week are; red, orange and yellow. The psychic centers are; the pineal body, pituitary gland with its two lobes and our third eye. Three colors and three chakras located in the head.
So, for two days the color will be a bright red color being felt in our pineal organ, our pituitary gland and the remnants of our third eye. For the next two days the color will be a bright orange color, so on our seventh day the color will be a bright yellow color being felt in these three psychic centers.

Start imagining that our head is a perfect sphere and right in the middle of it dwells the real you. Currently is a tiny gland, but many years ago it was a much bigger organ. This amazing organ is our pineal body. This organ has a powerful life of its own. This is the right place where your total memory resides.
This is indeed the Master Gland of all your glands, so every gland has a connection here. Right now our main concern is to make all the important psychic connections of your head. I came up embellishments such as the horns/pipes idea as a way for the Shaman to release energy.

Everything was polymodeled in 3ds max and then textured in ZBrush. The final version will have a much “dirtier” and realistic appearance.

Sahasrara (The Crown Chakra) is generally considered to be the chakra of pure consciousness.

I’m developing a character I call the Petrol Shaman.

I’m very happy to have finished the initial designs for this shaman’s chakras below.

These chakras will adorn his body and will serve as anchor points from which his armor will be built.

These chakra designs are a hybrid mixture of a few of the 2D chakra designs I found on the net.
