A personal request for face to face assistance (Los Angeles).

This message goes out to anybody in the Los Angeles area. I’ve worked with ZBrush off and on for several years, but I’ve never progressed farther than the 3D model in that picture. I’m getting frustrated, because I just can’t seem to make that next step. I think part of my problem is that I’ve been self teaching with the help of video tutorials. I run into a problem, get frustrated, and stop working on ZBrush for long stretches of time.

My proposition is that I buy lunch for anybody willing to give me a few hours to just go over the fundamentals. Perhaps suggest best practices and let me see your technique with the use of a Wacom tablet (I have one). I can’t really afford any classes right now and I plan on leavingg for Korea in the next few weeks to teach English for a year. I’m just hoping that I can get my footing and continue progressing while I’m away.

So how about it? I’m very flexible on time and location. You’d be doing me the biggest favor.
