I make a machine motif of box crab.
for practice Hard Surface.
At First, made from ZSphere.
Next,Sculpt a Skined model.

Next I use ClipCurve,Trim,other PolishBrush,.
Reshape, I use Claytube.
Cool, looking good 
Just purchased EAT3D box set of Zbrush tutorials, just going through the introduction this week, can’t wait to get sculpting
