First of all, hello to all
now, i am pretty new to modeling and stuff like this but i do enjoy making them, even now when i make crappy crappy models
i have a rather noobish question, sry about that :D, lets say that i try to create a new model, something, i start out with a sfere, edit it a bit and i can give it a bit of shape of what i want it to be, just as a little example a little doll like looking thing, the problem is that if i wanna try to sculpt or model it, it wants to go from edit mode, and i dont really want or need that cuz, that way how am i gonna model the back? i mean … it wont be a 3D model … only a 2D or something like that. Any tips? Sry if i didn’t really explain myself really well.
And another question, some models that i’ve seen on youtube, or here [the ones from here are AMAZING] i figure that who even made those models has a bit of talent, i mean … not as in Zbrush talent/skils, i mean … talent as in … when you paint a painting, if you dont know how to draw… your paiting will suk eventually :D. So my question is … can i learn and be able to do some nice models without having that “eye” for … details more or less. i guess i could only make undead models or only “original” stuff … that has nothing to do with the “laws” of real life :D. i would really really enjoy knowing to make good models, should i gave up just because i dont have that … “painter” touch?
Thank you .
