In the mean time I’m happy to share my entry for the “ANIME '80 '90” of the italian community of zBrush (www.zbrushcentral.it).

The contest require the modeling and the texturing/polypainting using as main application zBrush (only the use of simples base mesh imported from othe softwares is admitted) of a characters from the anime of the last 20 years of the passed century.

My choice was for Kaneda, one of the main Characters of Akira (Katsushiro Otomo Akira).
The motorcycle is a part of the characters and I’ve included it in my entry.

That is really great… I loved that movie, on Acid 17yrs ago. I had trails for the rest of the night.

Your render is very tru to the movie, I would love to see some different renders showing Off the 3d aspect of the model, opposed to the flat cartoon style shading.
