4r5 On mac continuous crashes!

i’m working on 4r5 on my mac 10.6.8 with 12 G

It has crashed so many times Since I have installed it .I’m losing time and money.

STEPS= crashes when merging subtools down
STEPS= crashes when trying to save, periodically.

I have missed two deadlines and have redone at least 2 days of work-twice.

I have reinstalled zbrush and called tech support. They said to send them the files, however, these are huge files, how do I get them to them quickly? They also said they want the steps, see above.

ANYONE ELSE out there having problems or am I alone in this frustrating endeavor?

There was problem before where if you did merge it failed>reason no u/v’s applied. Huge=??? You should be able to zip it and stick in Dropbox , send them the link to it.

I have a lot of problems too. Mine stem from a common issue though from what I can narrow down.

ZBrush has a temp folder under Users -> Shared -> (ZBrush Data I think is the name) and I’ve noticed that any time any function be it saving, qRemesher, Multimesh Insert, Decimation Master, etc writes more than 4.5 gigs of data to that folder ZBrush crashes.

I’m trying to find a good way to word all that and send it to Pixologic.

Mine can be replicated on both of my Macs who both were just re-imaged and have fresh installs of ZBrush.

“Sorry Zbrush is unable to properly complete this function due to a faulty or incomplete installation” message ?
