First, is it possibly to connect zspheres, like make a triangle with zspheres with only 3 zspheres. It’s not vital, but would like to know.
Second, I’m trying to make a character who have skins stretched between the fingers. It looks similar to how the skin stretches on the alien’s mouth in Alien. Here’s an image to clarify. Is there a good method to go about doing this?
Third, I’m taking a high res model and trying to convert it to a low res so it can be exported and used in a game (UDK). I poly painted my model. So, now I need to go about getting everything out. I know I need to export a texture map, a normal map, and a low res model, but are there others that would help keep the details?
I haven’t found much about what is vital to keep details. I heard that a displacement map and cavity map might help, but haven’t found sources to back that up. I’m probably exporting to 3DSMax (or Maya depending).
Lastly, for modeling eyes, I have mine as a subtool in my models. Do I need to combine the two subtools before exporting?
