In 4 Brothers, I sought to distil four distinct identities into a unified sculptural language, where the simplicity of form conceals the richness of character, memory, and shared experience.
The fisherman, chef, gardener, and painter embody divergent journeys through life; yet their placement upon a single pedestal reflects my belief that individuality and kinship can coexist in quiet harmony.
My work often embraces stylised geometry, restrained facial detail, and symbolic props, inviting the viewer to construct their own narrative rather than receive a prescribed interpretation.
Psychologically, this piece reveals my enduring fascination with human connection; beneath its playful aesthetic lies a contemplation of family, vocation, belonging, and the subtle bonds that shape our collective identity.
