3RD Party Browsers

Hi,

Are there any ‘browsers’ out there that show ZBrush thumbnails? MooTools shows .obj and .mb (Maya) thumbs but no ztools.

Thanks!

~S.~

nothing but Z can show a .ztl.

you can however set up a macro that will do a quick screen cap during the saving process so you can see the file is and view it nearly anything.

Sounds cool. How? ~S.~

a macro is just a recording of what you’re doing. So start a macro, perform all the steps you need - probably AAhalf, export document, save image, save tool (or project).

place your macro either somewhere on your UI or assign it a hotkey. Now instead of doing a normal save function, hit that button. viola

It’s possible to view ZBrush files using zscript (from within ZBrush). I made a browser a while ago that showed all the ZBrush files in a folder and allowed you to select them for loading or deletion. If this is the sort of thing you are after I will look it over and then post in the ‘Useful small zscript/macros’ thread.

Sorry if i’m way off base here, but isn’t this what Lightbox is for and does. It shows thumbnails of all your ZTools. Again, sorry if I’m misunderstanding the first post.
