I haven’t seen anything on this but I might not be thinking of the right terminology. I’m looking at taking a multi-object model in Max and possibly adding some detail but definitely some textures, but the triangle density is all over. Curved areas have plenty while flats have few so I’m not sure the best way to get this into Zbrush without breaking the universe. I end up at 3 mil in points with barely any subdivisions in the flat areas (they are there, just not nearly enough).
myself an 3dmax/zbrush as well. I use obj export per item in 0,0,0 (reset V map something like that, its very useful…(Ill look for right spell for it)) when use export select (never use export! it will make problem on many object if ya has more than 1.) in export menu, u can see “export to” bottom of screen, change it to zbrush export. do it again per items. it working well for me.
