Alright…
I’ve edited this thread to reflect what i’ve found out, in disregard to what i posted earlier because it was not specific enough.
ZBrush seems to have this “magic” limit of 508 units of bounding box size above which the exported stl is scaled by a factor of .1 or i guess .01 if it’s even larger.
Why is that? Is it a bug?
I have tested it as follows:
model 507 units wide -> correctly exported STL file
model 520 units wide -> exported STL is 52 units wide
why 508? it’s the maximum slider value for the size selection in 3D Print Exporter. Even with the “original size” setting the 508 limit is in place.
I’d be happy about any thoughts on this or if anybody experienced it so far…maybe it’s not a big issue for others?
