I’m in the process of converting my workflow from Maya 7 to Max 8 with Vray. Basically what I’m looking for is some info on vray rendering of skin and displacement maps. I was amazed at how easily Vray was to set up for zb disp maps, although I want to double check that I am not getting anything glaringly obviously wrong! Gone are the hours of Maya fiddling, plus for some reason its a heck of a lot faster and more stable on my machine than maya ever was.
It’s basically more advanced info I’m after as I’ve been using maya for a while and know it pretty damn well, the bottom line is it’s information that is pertinent to including it in my ZB workflow that I’m after. I’ve got Brazil RS also (although it’s probably going to be a while till I use it, I want to get my head around max and vray 1st LOL).
If any of you are max gurus out there who could answer a few probably astoundingly obvious questions while I get used to max I’d seriously owe you one.
