Hi folks. Here’s my case:
I’ve got a head sculpt with a couple of standard subdivisions and a couple of HD subdivisions. I want to add skin details on a separate 3d layer so I may change them later. I click “A” on my model, add a new layer which has “record” turned on, and I sculpt my details which is then stored on the layer. However as soon as I switch out of HD geometry and back again, my layers are gone and the details have been baked into the model. Why is that? Has anyone experienced this problem?
