Hi,
When I use the “Create And Export Map” button in Tool>Displacement Map, I get strange textures where my UV shells have the right shape but are filled with white noise. Also, the tif files are not 32 bit, even though the button “32Bit” is enabled.
By the way, I’ve spent the entire evening trying to find up-to-date documentation about the workflow to export a displacement map from Zbrush4 and apply it in Maya2011.
However all the pages of the Online Docs seem to be outdated information about older versions. Also the Judging from the number of questions about Displacement maps in this forum, I would imagine that this would be quite a useful and important thing.
