added, lots of detail and reshaped the mouth to allow for teeth, loved this sculpt to death. might come back to a full body pose later but for now its finishedDR_firstSculpt_teeth.jpg

Pretty awesome work, really nice sculpting on the hair and chin, that must have taken some time to do. really like the teeth aswell, great addition, really give the model much more character. :smiley:

Always liked Dr - keep going , this is taking hape nicely . Gonna make Quinch too?

@ SIM-R was going for Quinch first then saw someone had already done a great sculpt of him. Loved the chance this gave me to get the original comics out again, my ten yr old loved tthem

Here is an update of the DR head, I know I said Id done with it for now, but I had to keep going, im posing up a sculpt based on Alan Moores front cover, see insert. You can also see the base mesh ive modelled for the jacket,

Will do the arms separate and the big gun of course.

I guess there are some sculpts, that was only supposed to be so much, becomes more than just that. Looking forward to see the pose, and how you’ll solve his hairy arms :slight_smile:

@ victorCS I know what you mean, this ones a grower as they say, plan to try out fur shaders first if all else fails Maya will be able to handle it I’m sure

Here are a few shots of the base mesh Ive made in Maya, and how it is coming across in Zbrush, I have an issue with the neck, but I think I can hide the seam with a chain that he wears.

Here is an update, the whole Body is done, but before I start to sculpt Im going to build the missiles and guns that will be props for the composition. Here is what Waldo’s Body proportions look like so far.

Any thought on how I might better merge to two meshes (head and Torso) together, without destroying all the sculpting work I have done on the head model??
