In the top-right corner of the UI there is an area that shows total points and active points. Is there a way to replace that with total poly and active polys?
No. The shelf can only contain elements that are found within the various palettes. Those particular items are actually elements found in the Preferences>Misc menu. There are no polygons equivalent elements.
