okay so i started working on a model that i started in 3.1…
i painted it and i find that the polypainting i did on one of the subtools can not be extracted to a texture, it just turns black.
funny thing is that i can extract all the other polypainting on subtools just fine. the one mesh i cant is the main body mesh and the one i spent most of the time on, the teeth and eyes and smaller details can all be easily converted to texture…
ALSO, the one mesh that i cant extract the details from is scaled down like 100 times when i export an obj, all the other subtools export correctly.
i can fix the scale issue if i combine them into one subtool, this allows proper export. but if i try extract a texture from the combined model i see the same problem, all the little pieces get texture information projected to the texture, the body gets projected black. this also still happens if delete the uvs and create new ones, the body will never project the polypainting…
does anyone know what is going on .
