zBrush 3.2 keeps crashing every 5 - 15 mins,
sometimes it is when I move the camera, change subtools, or
hide/unhide parts of a subtool. It crashes even when I have just one
subtool visible at low resolution.
My file has 12 subtools and is 170 MB. I tried reinstalled the
program from my real CD copy with authentication
key, no luck. I noticed that zBrush was
automatically “Recording” a zScript, so I unclicked it and have been
watching it, but it is still crashing.
The only thing that worked for fixing the crashing issue was to
go into the User/pixologic/…/goZ default files and deleted the
.ma/.ztl files. It fixed the problem, but I can’t use GoZ for the
project anymore.
Is there a way to find the issue file without deleting these GoZ
support files? OR is there a way to set up new GoZ files??
