3.12 Manual

Is there a manual for 3.12? I need a total reboot-retread, as i never quite got 2.5 D (and patiently waited for the Mac 3.x)

I tried Help- top right corner, but quickly got error messages while navigating around help-- Help then ceased working, but could be accessed again after restarting ZBrush. Then it quickly ceased again, simply by clicking Menu/Help/List All Topics.

Any ideas please?

We are currently working on 3.12’s documentation. It should be available very soon.

“Very soon”?

Very soon=one month?

Aurick,
First of all, let me categorically state that I value the service that you provide for this community. You have a tough job, and no one could do it better! Yet I am compelled to state… As a software instructor and someone who has to learn the tool before he turns around to teach it, I can’t remember any other program that would launch, BEFORE it’s documentation is available. While I was on the nag-train for the Mac release to be ASAP, it still seems odd.

For instance, I am on the site right now only because I was looking up how to export Displacement Maps from Z3.12 (which I managed to find). But in that thread, it was listed that the new format is in place to accommodate multiple textures across subtools (awesome BTW!). I didn’t find that out till I stumbled on it, and I double checked Pixo’s launch page for the software with it’s “here’s what’s new broohaha”, and nothing there. Now I feel like, “what else am I missing?”

I am usually pretty good at figuring stuff out on my own, but I just want to know what it is that I should be looking for! Is there anyway we can get a list… check that… a complete list of difference between 3.1 and 3.12? Not a guide how to use it, just a bullet point list of what we should look out for?
