Hi
I’m not sure if there’s something else going on that’s making these issues happen, or if they are indeed bugs, but I’ve encountered these with a few previous versions of ZBrush, too.
Okay, so the first:
I’ve noticed, whenever I try to use the Split Screen tool, that it only works correctly depending on the resolution. On my Cintiq 16, this is how things look with a resolution of 1482x698 and using two separate SubTools:
However, if I set the resolution to something like 1920x1080, this happens:
The mesh on the left becomes offset. The higher the resolution, the worse it is. I’ve tried it with Pro enabled, too. This also happens on my PC monitor, which is 1920x1080 and my laptop.
Second issue:
I’ve noticed, even with clean topology, either by ZRemeshing or using Decimation Master first, ZRemeshing, and then using Project, that parts of the surface look and feel uneven and lumpy.
I’m not sure if this is down to the brush I’m using or something else. Even if I try and flatten the surface with the Flatten or Polish and Smooth brushes, it doesn’t seem to rectify it. :-\
Thanks
